Welcome to 4th grade! I am Brandon Krause and I am excited to be your child’s teacher for this year. Many of you may already know me from my various roles at Jackson, but for those who don’t (and those who already do) know me, here is a little about me.
This year will be my seventh year teaching, all of which has been in the Sheboygan Area School District. I started my career student teaching at Jackson, and have been here ever since. Prior to being a 4th grade teacher this year, I was the Interventionist here at Jackson, as well as a District Instructional Data Coach for Jackson and Grant Elementary Schools. I earned my teaching certification through the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, as well as Master’s Degrees in Curriculum & Instruction, and Educational Administration.
I currently live in Sheboygan Falls with my wife and three sons, Tyler, Jackson and Caleb. Tyler is three and a half, Jackson is two years old, and Caleb is five months old.
We have an exciting year ahead of us in 4th grade, and I am thrilled and honored to spend it with you and your child. Please feel free to contact me throughout the year with any questions or concerns you may have. The relationship between the classroom and home is vital to the success of your child, and I am here to make that the best relationship possible. You can reach me anytime at [email protected] or 414-405-2877

We have a lot of growth ahead of us this school year. I strongly believe in the growth mindset and instill that in the learners every day. There is no such thing as "I Can't" or "This is too hard." Instead, we focus on the power of "yet." Where we might have said "I Can't" in the past, we focus on saying and thinking, "I haven't figured it out YET." Or, changing our words from "This is too hard" to "This may take time and effort."
