Room #209 is looking to see if any parent or adult would be interested in volunteering for our Junior Achievement program. The JA program complements the hard work and dedication you put into helping throughout the education of your child, by providing them opportunities to develop interdisciplinary knowledge and skills. They have been demonstrated to have a positive impact on students' understanding of financial concepts and how the lessons they learn during the activities will be important later in their life. If you are interested, please let me know and I can send more information home with your child.

It's that time again! The Brat Fry is only a few short weeks away. The 25th Annual Jackson Brat Fry will take place on Friday, 9/29/17 from 4:30-7:30 pm. For our theme basket this year, we will fill our baskets with Family Movie Night items. These can be items such as:
I am very excited to be working with all of you this year (parents and students). This website will be my main way of communicating important information throughout the school year. Please use the tabs at the top to navigate to the appropriate section. I will be sharing our learning and exciting things happening in Room #209 and at Jackson Elementary School. It is but one way for you to see the action that is happening in school during your child's day. This blog will only be seen by parents of this classroom. It was great to meet with all of you at Move In Night and I can't wait for Tuesday!
